What is Artificial Intelligence ?



     The theory and development of computer system able to perform task normally requiring human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision - making and translation between language.

  • first Greek mithology - Talos 
        Talos was giant animated bronze worrier programmed to guard the island creat created by bhephaestus. 
  •  In 1950 - Alan Turing 
        Alan Turing published a landmark paper in which speculated about the possibility of creating machines that think. 
  •   In 1951 Game AI 
       Christopher strachey wrote a checker programme and Dietrich Prinz wrote one for chess.

  •   In 1956 Birth of AI 
         john McCarthy first coined the term "Artificialintelligence" in 1956 at Dartmouth conference. 

  •   In 1959 first AI laboratory 
           MIT AI lab was setup in 1959,the research of AI began

  •   In 1960  General robots motors 
           The first robot introduced to general motors assembly lines.

  • In 1961  First Chatbot
        The first AI chatbot called  ELIZA was introduced in 1961.

  • In 1997 IBM Deep Blue
       IBM's deepblue beats worlds champion garry kasparov   in the game of chess.

  • In 2005 DARPA Grand challenge 
       Stanford racing team's autonomous robotic car.

    There are three type of AI.
